The Dirt Digger Knife was developed to fill the need of a high quality blade made to take a beating! 

Let's face its sometimes you need a knife you can beat up, dig roots with, and not worry about busting up. If that sounds like something you need then the Dirt Digger is for you! We designed the Dirt Digger knife to have a homemade backwoods feel with the durability of a high priced custom knife at a low cost. 

Gear is meant to be used and in this case abused. The Dirt Digger Knife has imperfections built into it giving it that backcountry woodshed construction look. You are going to find a few uneven spots, hand ground bevels, and lots of character.

So here is how this all started....

The story of this knife started at the instructors cabin. Dan made a prototype knife, that was quite rustic. While using it one day he left in on a log and later that day it snowed. The snow covered the knife and Dan forgot about it until spring. Rusty and dirty the knife was then found by another instructor and somehow it made its way back to the cabin. The instructors then started to use the knife for everything they wouldn't want to use their good blades for. Cutting roots, sharpening demos, throwing it at trees like in the movie The Hunted!. The knife just keep performing. So after a year we decided that People NEED THESE! The Dirt Digger was Born! 

Each Dirt Digger knife comes with a classic, high quality sheath that will last a lifetime.  Beautifully constructed of brown leather with brown thread.
