Understanding the wilderness around us can create an unparalleled advantage for the outdoor enthusiast. The Basic Bushcraft Course focuses on having the knowledge to identify, craft, and functionally apply resources in a wilderness type setting. Life in the outdoors can be extremely comfortable. It is about learning to maximize both your equipment and the environment around you. During this course, you will learn to create a maintained and balanced living situation - from crafting and developing woodland supplies to equipment alternatives and repair. Individuals will gain a full understanding of a wilderness mindset to extend their wilderness living and lifestyle.

Students will move around the school property throughout the day at a leisurely pace.

- Start Time: 9:00 am
- The primary focus of this course is for students to gain a better understanding of how to optimize the use of their gear and the resources nature provides.
- Students will stay on school grounds during the course and sleep in tarp shelters that we teach during the course.
- PortaJohn Bathrooms are available on-site
- Students will have access to their vehicles during class.
- We suggest packing nonperishable foods/snacks for the day. It makes it easier for you during break times.
- Freshwater is available on-site. Recommended bringing 1-2 gallons of additional water.
- Students will be provided a meat source for dinner the second night. Other meals are the responsibility of the student.
