COURSE DESCRIPTION
An emergency situation can happen anywhere at any time. Usually, these events also happen when you least expect it. Knowing this, it is important to be prepared before an emergency happens so you, your family, and loved ones can be safe. Natural disasters, man-induced disasters, or even being stranded after a vehicle breakdown can’t be avoided, but you can be ready. Our Stay Ready Course will discuss short- and long-term preparedness both at and away from home. Wilderness skills can teach individuals a lot about overall preparedness, even when it means away from the wilderness. Understanding the survival priorities of fire, water, shelter, and food, then applying these principles to your preparedness plan, is extremely important. Come and Stay Ready with us while we deep dive into these priorities along with secondary considerations such as communications, personal protection, travel, and detection avoidance. Learn what to stock, supply, and carry with you at home, in your vehicle, and even at work!
This class will also have a personal protection education component. Individuals will learn the nomenclature and use of the AR-15 platform. Students will learn the basics of shooting, moving, and will engage in force-on-force scenarios around buildings, vehicles, and in woodland environments.
