On the frontier men would grab a butcher knife before leaving for the outdoors. There was no special knives for being in the woods. That got us thinking...we should probably make a butcher blade! Those guys knew how to survive so they had to be on to something.  The Coalcracker Knife Shop Butcher blade is a perfect addtion to any knife owners collection.  Large and robust this knife will get any job done from, of course, butchering game, to camp cooking, to processing wood, to daily camp activities.  With a rugged finish this knife looks ready for any abuse you can throw at it. 

The sheath is a classic, high quality sheath that will last a lifetime.  Beautifully constructed of brown 9 oz bridal leather with white thread.
