COURSE DESCRIPTION
Learning new outdoor skills can be daunting, especially when faced with barriers like time, location, and travel. Our solution? Bringing the training directly to you through virtual clinics. These interactive sessions offer the perfect opportunity to acquire new skills, brush up on existing ones, and connect with like-minded individuals – all from the comfort of your own space.
Each virtual course lasts approximately one hour and includes interactive instruction followed by a dedicated question and answer segment. Upon registration, you'll receive an automated confirmation email, and closer to the course date, you'll receive log-in instructions.
ONLINE COURSES
- Load-Out: TBD - Load out is a clinic that will focus specifically on gear for bushcraft, survival, and everyday carry. The course will cover first and second line gear, transportation methods, needs vs. wants, and seasonal changes in equipment. Clothing will also be addressed in this course. No equipment is needed for this clinic.
- Survival Priorities: Sunday, July 13, 2025 6:00 p.m. EST - This clinic will focus on the survival priorities of Fire, Water, Shelter, and Food. Each category will be examined and explained. Gear and skill recommendations will be discussed. No equipment is needed for this clinic.
- Navigation: Sunday, November 2, 2025 6:00 p.m. EST - Understand how to use a compass, map, and nature to identify where you are and how to get where you are going. Navigation is a key component exploring the great outdoors. Equipment requirement: It is not mandatory but we do recommend you have a Suunto MCB Compass for the course.
- Get Home Bags: TBD-A disaster can strike at any moment and will wait for no one. Do you know what to pack in case something outside the norm happens? What if you are away from home and you need to abandon your normal commute methods. What should you consider and what should you pack for these types of emergencies?
- Tool and Gear: TBD- Gear and an important part of our outdoor adventure. It provides safety, utility, and comfort for us when recreating outdoors. It is important that we choose the correct gear and understand how to properly use, maintain, clean, repair and store it. From knife and axe selection and care to cloth and fabric goods we will cover it all.

Bushcraft Ready: Sunday, April 13, 2025 6:00 p.m. EST -
Bushcraft Ready dives into the essentials of bushcraft, exploring the gear and resources you should carry and look for when setting up camp. The true essence of bushcrafting lies in learning to become one with both the gear you carry and the environment around you. Join us as we walk you through a typical bushcraft loadout, how to maximize your equipment, and how to adapt based on weather and climate. No specific equipment is required for this course.
